    • 03/26/2026 - Quarterly data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for hospitals, nursing facilities, and other facilities has been updated (data as of January 12, 2026). This data is available in the Map Gallery, Build Your Own Map, Reports, and Data Explorer.
    • 03/26/2026 - The Unmet Need Score Map Tool was recently updated. Updates to this application include a data refresh (2025).
    • 03/12/2026 - Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) state counts of number of transplants by the state of residence of recipient for fiscal year 2025 (October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025) has been updated (data as of January 9, 2026). This data is available in the HRSA Fact Sheets.
    • 03/12/2026 - American Community Survey (ACS) (2020-2024) data has been updated with the most recent updates from the U.S. Census Bureau. ACS data is available in the Data Explorer, Map Tool, Demographic Dashboard, and Quick Maps.

    • 01/29/2026 - Quarterly data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for hospitals, nursing facilities, and other facilities has been updated (data as of December 10, 2025). This data is available in the Map Gallery, Map Tool, Reports, and Data Explorer.
    • 01/29/2026 - The Area Health Resources Files (AHRF) data have been updated. Featuring information from over 50 sources, the AHRF contains data on health care professions, health facilities, population characteristics, health professions training, hospital utilization, and more.

    • 08/28/2025 - Quarterly data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for hospitals, nursing facilities, and other facilities has been updated (data as of July 16, 2025). This data is available in the Map Gallery, Map Tool, Reports, and Data Explorer.
    • 08/01/2025 - A new dashboard is available from NCHWA. The Health Workforce Explorer Dashboard provides an overview of 40 occupations in the U.S. health workforce including provider counts, demographics, and education.

  • July 2025

    • 07/31/2025 - The 2024 Uniform Data System (UDS) Health Center Program Data is now available. Data on patient characteristics, services provided, clinical processes, health outcomes, staffing, and patients’ use of services is available for viewing. In addition, costs and revenues at the national, state, and health center levels is available.
