Abstract Text: The Minnesota Poison Control plays a pivotal role in Minnesota’s healthcare landscape by offering immediate and expert guidance to the public and healthcare professionals facing poison-related emergencies. Meeting rigorous criteria, the Poison Center has been nationally recognized since 1987 as an accredited poison center by the American Association of Poison Control Centers (AAPCC), which is the America’s Poison Centers’ accreditation body. The MPCS is contracted and designated by the Minnesota Department of Health to provide poison control services including emergency call center services, public education, and professional education in Minnesota. The MPCS is also contracted by the North Dakota Department of Health and Sanford Health to provide emergency call center services to the residents and health care professionals in North and South Dakota.
